What Peachtree City Athletes Are Saying

Real results from club athletes, overhead athletes, and motivated movers who refused to settle.

I’m running and cycling better than ever before, and no longer finding myself questioning instabilities and compensation patterns. Incredibly pleased with the quality of service and expertise The Mobile Athlete has given to me over the last couple of months. Of all the PT establishments I’ve worked with, Shawn is by far the most client focused DPT I’ve come across, and shows a real respect for his clients’ time and goals.

When I first started having back problems I went to my family doctor and she told me to start physical therapy to help stretch my back. I went with a traditional physical therapy place. First visit wasn’t that bad. But then it got to when I would go see my PT they would be working with other people and never show me any attention. I could have honestly done all the exercises that they gave me on my own at home and saved my money and TIME. After a couple of visits like this I was done! I mean I left in the middle of the session with the insurance based clinic. I wanted someone who could focus on me and my needs to help me get better. I found The Mobile Athlete and they were the total opposite. Every session was 1-on-1 with the Doc for a WHOLE HOUR!! They saved me so much time and money but most importantly they SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!! Now I can pickup my grand baby off the floor and play with her, with NO BACK PAIN! I recommend everyone go see The Mobile Athlete!

I had reoccurring low back pain when deadlifting and squatting for about a year. I'd strip the weight, slowing build, and keep coming back to the same pain when the bar had around 200lb. Once I started seeing Dr. Shawn in March of this year, he quickly identified the issues in my hips and guided me to drastically improve. Now I've gotten back up to deadlifting 405lb and squatting 315lb while still improving week to week aiming to surpass all-time maxes at 460 and 360. He's helped me get back to my goal of trying out my first amateur strongman competition later this year after some more building. He does a great job of understanding your goals, analyzing your movement patterns, and providing strategies and resources to improve. I can't thank him enough and I'm excited for his new location and growth!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started at The Mobile Athlete.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based and don't bill insurance directly. This allows us to focus on your goals and training, not insurance rules. We provide superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement if your plan covers out-of-network care.

How long are sessions, and how often will I need to come in?

Session length depends on your needs and the service. After your evaluation, we'll give you a clear picture of what to expect. Many people start with a plan over several weeks and adjust from there based on how they're progressing.

Will I have to stop training while I'm working with you?

Not usually. We build your plan around what you can do safely and progress from there. The goal is to keep you moving and training while we address what's driving the issue.

Why is this different from other PT clinics in Peachtree City?

You get one-on-one care focused on your sport and your training. We use objective testing tools like VALD Dynamo and ForceDecks to guide decisions, and we're focused on bridging rehab and performance—not just getting you pain-free.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Wear athletic clothes you can move in. If you're working on a running or lifting issue, bring your training shoes or be ready to demonstrate key movements so we can assess your mechanics and build a plan.
