FAQs

Common questions about how we work, what to expect, and how to get started with The Mobile Athlete.

Do you take insurance?

We operate on a direct-pay model, which means we don't bill insurance directly. We do provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA.

What makes this different than traditional PT?

We focus on one-on-one care with an athlete-first approach. Sessions are built around your training and sport goals, not insurance requirements. We use objective testing tools to guide decisions and track progress.

How quickly can I get in?

Many people are able to schedule an evaluation within a few days. The first step is to schedule discovery call through our contact page so we can learn more about what you are dealing with and schedule your evaluation.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit is an evaluation where we assess what's driving the issue, test movement and strength, and build a plan based on your goals. You'll leave with clarity on next steps and plan to solve your problem

Do you work with teams or just individuals?

We work with both individuals and teams. For teams, we offer in-clinic and on-site performance training with testing and coaching support. There's no distance limit for team work.
